Local governments and small businesses face a common challenge: securing their data, people, and processes with effective, affordable, and responsive services. Lan Jenson founded nonprofit Cybertrust America to bridge this gap, delivering tangible results and building strong relationships, as evidenced by impactful projects below. Ms. Jenson is an Advisory Board member for the Silicon Valley Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity (CAIC) at San Jose State University and a member of the California Governor's Cybersecurity Task Force: Workforce Development and Education Subcommittee. She also co-chairs NIST GCTC: Smart Security and Privacy and co-authored its guidebook titled “A Risk Management Approach to Smart City Cybersecurity and Privacy.” ● Comprehensive Cyber Risk Assessments & Compliance Reviews: Successfully completed for dozens of cities and counties, strengthening their security foundations. ● Critical Penetration Testing: Identified and mitigated vulnerabilities for a defense contractor, safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information in the CMMC Level 2 framework. ● Strategic Multi-Year Cyber Posture Planning: Developed a robust, multi-year cybersecurity strategy for a county with nearly one million residents. ● Talent Development & Placement: Facilitated successful placements for internships, apprenticeships, and new hires, including a CA State Department hire. ● Detailed After-Action Reviews: Providing valuable insights for continuous improvement and a culture of security
