CAWG 2024 Advocacy Day & Foundation Reception
OPPORTUNITY. CONNECTING. NETWORKING
March 12, 2024
9:00 AM - 6:30 PM (PT)

A key benefit to CAWG membership is the opportunity to participate in advocacy efforts in Sacramento.  This involves face-to-face meetings with key legislators, staff, and regulators.  You are invited to join your fellow growers and industry leaders for CAWG Advocacy Day 2024, a day of grassroots lobbying in Sacramento on Tuesday, March 12.

Our lobbying team headed by Michael Miiller, CAWG Director of Government Relations, and Jack Gualco, The Gualco Group, Inc. are planning an exciting and informative day.

  • The day begins with breakfast at the Capitol Events Center and then presentations from key elected officials and Newsom Administration leaders.
  • After lunch we will all go to legislative offices to share with them the top priority issues for California growers.
  • The day will end with a CAWG Foundation evening reception at Prelude Kitchen + Bar.

CAWG works hard on your behalf in providing a strong voice in the State Capitol.  However, hearing directly from the people who are most effected by policies coming out of Sacramento is crucial to CAWG’s efforts on your behalf.  CAWG’s Advocacy Day is your opportunity to talk with and educate key policy makers about important issues affecting your business.

Enjoying wine together gives us a connection with the place in which the wine was crafted and the people who make California wine a unique symbol of our state. It is only natural that the CAWG Foundation was started as an expression of gratitude to the employees who help make the winegrape and wine community a special part of California culture. Join the California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation (CAWGF) for a Foundation Reception, with elected officials, Tuesday, March 12, at Prelude Kitchen + Bar. Share the story of how we give back to the community through this important scholarship program while networking with your industry colleagues and elected officials. The reception will be taking place after CAWG's Advocacy Day.
