This session will provide a detailed overview of the term sheets for two homeownership financing options under the City’s Open Door Program and the State’s Affordable Homeownership Opportunity Program. The panel will be comprised of government representatives from HPD and DHCR, as well as developer representatives who are actively using each of the financing tools to advance affordable homeownership. The program will cover eligible applicants, equity requirements, eligible housing models, participating co-lenders, and tax incentives commonly used in conjunction with both programs for homeownership deals.
