Beginning her laboratory career at a major reference laboratory in 2004, followed by a decade of overnights at a Level I Trauma Center and leaving the lab world after 8 years in an oncology private practice, she brings 20+ years of laboratory bench experience and her love of teaching into the classroom at Rasmussen University where she educates and trains the next generation of lab techs. She lives in Saint Paul with her spouse and menagerie of pets and can be found cross-stitching or playing Dungeons & Dragons during her free time when she isn't engaged in furthering her own educational journey.
