Dr. Geiersbach is a molecular pathologist and an Associate Professor in the Division of Laboratory Genetics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She received her M.D. from the University of Colorado and completed an Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency and Clinical Cytogenetics fellowship at the University of Colorado. She also completed a Molecular Genetic Pathology fellowship at the University of Utah / ARUP Laboratories. Dr. Geiersbach has dedicated her career to clinical service and teaching and she has held multiple leadership positions nationally and internationally, including leadership roles with the Association for Molecular Pathology, the College of American Pathology, and the World Health Organization. Her primary academic interest is in solid tumor genomics, and she has over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
