AltusPath LLC was founded by Corey Garness, a software engineering executive leader with an extensive background in the healthcare technology space, a field where systems have to be built for reliability, resiliency, and scalability because there's no margin for downtime or data loss when patient care and clinical workflows depend on them. He's also the owner of RVScope, an RV inspection business, and it was hands-on inspection work through RVScope that exposed the gap AltusPath was built to fill: as Corey puts it, "I kept hitting the same wall, over and over, and couldn't find a tool that didn't have it." Most inspection software available to RV inspectors had been adapted from other industries — home inspection chief among them — rather than built for RV work specifically. So he built the tool he actually wanted to use.
That tool became RVi, AltusPath's flagship product: purpose-built inspection software for RV inspection businesses, managing the full workflow from intake through final report generation, with structured data capture, drag-and-drop image upload, and operational visibility. It's currently built around a solo/small-scale inspection operation like RVScope, with expansion into the home-inspection market in the works.
Beyond RVi, AltusPath operates as a broader information technology consulting and software product firm, applying that same healthcare-grade engineering discipline to other organizations. It offers three consulting specialties — Healthcare Technology Consulting (digital health architecture and interoperability), Large-Scale Integration (end-to-end implementation using modern patterns and standards), and Architecture & Delivery (cloud-ready, API-first systems with observability) — delivered through a "clarity first, built to scale, outcome focused" philosophy, via advisory services, hands-on delivery partnerships, or product collaboration.
