Ryanne Jennings is the President/CEO of the Wayne County Community Foundation and joined the organization in 2019. She has her BS in Public Health from Temple University and certificates of Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Scranton, Nonprofit Management and Nonprofit Fundraising from Temple University. Ryanne also recently completed her Masters Degree at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in the spring of 2025. Ryanne was awarded the 2020 Community Achievement Award by the Chamber of the Northern Poconos and the 2021 Arthur Watres Community Service Award from the Lacawac Sanctuary Foundation.
Ryanne and her husband, along with their two children, moved back to their hometown in Wayne County, PA in 2016 after living in Philadelphia for over a decade. In Philly, she worked in health communications at The Food Trust, a nationally recognized food access organization as well as a HIV test counselor and sex educator for ActionWellness (previously ActionAIDS). Ryanne serves as a board member of The Cooperage Project, the Pennsylvania Community Foundation Association, the NCAC (Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center), and the Friends of Honesdale Boys Soccer. She also serves as a Professional Coach for the University of Scranton’s Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program. Ryanne also volunteers as a coach for the Honesdale Missy Basketball program and Friends of Honesdale High School Soccer. She is very passionate about community building, public health and the power of collaboration and is also an avid reader.
