Michele Mummert is the Vice President Grants and Community Engagement for the York County Community Foundation. Prior to joining YCCF, Michele was employed by WellSpan Health for more than a decade, most recently serving as the Senior Director of Community Health and Engagement. Throughout her career, Michele enjoyed roles where she offered strategic leadership in public and community relations, needs assessment, and improvement planning. Michele’s grant-related experience spans all aspects from application submissions and management to overseeing multiple grant-making programs. She is energized by collaborating with non-profit partners and other funders who come together to boldly tackle the most pressing community needs in creative ways. In her YCCF role, she is honored to lead the grants and community engagement efforts to identify and support nonprofit organizations who are making a meaningful impact for those who live, work and play in York County. Michele earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern University and a M.B.A. from The Pennsylvania State University.
