The Nonprofit Partnership advances the nonprofit sector by promoting best practices, fostering connections, and celebrating excellence. Since 2006, NPP has provided education, training, consulting, and resources designed to strengthen nonprofit organizations and the people who lead them. Today, our membership includes more than 500 nonprofit organizations, creating a growing network committed to building stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities. Founded by and working closely with The Erie Community Foundation, NPP understands the important relationship between community foundations and the nonprofits they support. Our resources can complement a foundation’s own capacity-building efforts by providing nonprofit grantees and partners with access to professional development, practical tools, peer learning, consulting, and ongoing organizational support. Through workshops, virtual programs, conferences, networking opportunities, cohorts, and consulting services, NPP addresses topics ranging from governance and fundraising to leadership, strategy, marketing, finance, technology, and organizational sustainability. Foundations can also look to NPP as a partner and resource for identifying training opportunities, strengthening nonprofit capacity, and connecting organizations with expertise that can help them better fulfill their missions. Our work is rooted in the belief that investing in nonprofit organizations and their people strengthens the entire philanthropic ecosystem. We invite PACFA members to explore NPP’s resources, share opportunities with the nonprofits they serve, and consider how our programs and expertise can complement their own work in communities across Pennsylvania.
