Asirport Arrival
Please plan to arrive at Denver International Airport at least 2 hours prior to flight departure on Saturday, February 15, 2025, to ensure you have enough for parking, checking
luggage, receiving your boarding passes and passing through TSA Security. You must check in for the flight a minimum of two hours prior to departure. The Southwest Airlines and United Airline ticket counters are located in the West Terminal.
Luggage Limitations & Fees
Checked luggage fees vary depending on airline and your frequent flyer status and are at your own expense. Additional fees may apply for checking more than one piece of luggage or for luggage over the 50lb weight limit. Most airlines permit one carry-on bag that fits either in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you and one personal item.
Airport Transfers
Upon arrival into San Jose, Costa Rica International Airport, proceed to baggage claim. Once in baggage claim, look for a transportation representative wearing a red polo and khaki pants holding a sign with the GTS Logo.
Do not exit baggage claim without contacting the transportation representative to be escorted outside to the transportation vehicles. Please identify your luggage as it is loaded on your transportation vehicle to ensure your luggage travels with you to the resort.
The ride from the airport to the hotel
is approximately 45 minutes.
Required Documents
U.S. citizens are required to
possess a valid US passport when entering Costa Rica. A state-issued
photo I.D. card, such as a driver's license or a non-driving photo I.D are not
acceptable. A valid passport will expire at least six months after our
dates of travel (e.g., expiration date AFTER August 22, 2025)
Attire
Daytime Attire is Resort
Casual: shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, swim suits, sandals and flip
flops.
Evening Attire is Resort Dressy: sundresses, skirts, blouses, dressy pants/tops for ladies, and slacks, sport shirts with collar for men.
Packing Tips & Hints
Be sure to pack any prescriptions, eyeglasses/contacts, sunglasses, valid passport, money, credit cards, phone chargers. Do not forget a light jacket/sweater, swimsuit cover up, hat, bug repellant and hand sanitizer. Pack your binoculars for viewing birds and wildlife at the hotel.
Weather
Daily temperatures in Los Suenos, Costa Rica: Highs in the mid 80's and lows in the mid 60's.
Gratuities
You are certainly welcome to tip on your own for any special service you receive during your trip. Guests are responsible for their own incidental charges.
Food Allergies
Dietary needs must be indicated during registration to arrange for safe and accurate personalized meals at the event. Onsite requests may not be honored nor guaranteed. Vaccinations
There are no required vaccinations for
traveling to Costa Rica.
