Since its inception in 2010, GlassDay®, hosted by Garibaldi Glass, has emerged as a cornerstone event for industry professionals. This annual gathering has evolved into a highly anticipated and accredited platform that brings together architects, glaziers, engineers, contractors, designers, developers, and more from North America and Europe.

This year’s theme, “Value Beyond Measure: Raising the Benchmark,” underscores the comprehensive nature of quality in the glass and construction industries. Quality goes beyond the product or service itself, it’s about reliability, staying ahead in industry and technological advancements, and the processes that bring products to life; it’s a philosophy. We will also continue to explore how early involvement, shared principles, and collaborative partnerships can create innovative solutions that set new benchmarks for excellence in our industry.

Each year, the event focuses on universal and timely topics, providing a venue for professionals to stay informed about the latest innovations, trends, and best practices in glass and glazing engineering.
  • Continuing Education: Earn up to 5.5 continuous education credits with AIA, AIBC, or IEDEC Accredited Seminars. The event is designed to contribute to the professional development of attendees, ensuring they stay at the forefront of industry advancements.

  • Plant Tour Experience: Join either a 30 minute non-accredited or 60 minute AIBC accredited Plant Tour featuring our 160,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility. Gain insights into the manufacturing processes and technological advancements that drive the company’s excellence.

Plant Tour Dress Code

For Safety reasons, the following dress code for our Plant Tours must be adhered to:

All plant tour guests must wear long pants that cover your ankles for the tour. 
We will provide each person with safety PPE of a hard hat and a pair of safety goggles.
All attendees must wear closed-toe shoes [high heels/pumps are not acceptable footwear]. 

If you would like to change into different clothing for your tour, please reach out to the GlassDay Commitee at glassday@garibaldiglass.com OR onsite to a Garibaldi Plant Tour Registration Desk member; they will direct you.

Driving Directions

Travel along Marine Way, when you reach the intersection of Marine Way and North Fraser Way, continue south on North Fraser Way for about 3 blocks. When you reach Wiggins Street [2nd set of lights], turn left. Continue towards the end of the road, you will see a set of railway tracks, turn right into the driveway immediately before the tracks and keep driving past the first building on Wiggins towards a large parking lot. As you approach, you will see our large glass front entrance.
