Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites you to join
the leading educators from Columbia University, addressing an overview of high yield
challenging scenarios in the management of IgA Nephropathy. The half-day course is designed to enhance the knowledge of
healthcare professionals on the IgAN updates including pathogenesis (with
particular emphasis on the Gut-Renal axis) , genetics, pathology and
non-immunosuppresive and immunosuppressive
strategies. Through a combination of lectures and case-based presentations,
this course will deliver up-to-date and cutting-edge information that can be
directly integrated into clinical practice.
Learning Objectives
1. Discuss the basis of the pathogenesis of IgAN.
2.
Define renal pathology patterns of IgAN, with emphasis on scoring systems.
3.
Explain the management of IgAN using risk calculators, standard and novel therapies.
