This guided walking tour will take you through its rich past, highlighting key Indigenous stories and stopping at significant monuments along the way. You’ll also visit the Agowiidiwinan Centre – home to the Treaty Relations Commission of Manitoba – to gain insight into the significance and lasting impact of Indigenous treaties. The tour continues at The Forks Market, where you’ll have the opportunity to self-explore and experience all that this vibrant space has to offer. Here, you can also find unique Indigenous items, with boutiques featuring traditional and contemporary Indigenous artistry, including jewelry, moccasins, and more.
