Thank you for joining us as a sponsor at the Annual Upstate New York State Affordable Housing Conference, the premier housing event of the year, on September 12, 2024, at The Buffalo Convention Center. Your support allows us to keep our annual fees lower than otherwise possible, and to host inter-agency meetings, trainings, and educational programs. Your contribution also helps to support our policy and sustainability initiatives.
Important Information for All Sponsors:
Book a hotel room today in the Buffalo area (the hotel block at The Hyatt is sold out).
You should have received an EventLeaf link to update your firm’s profile and a discount code to register your participants. Please email me if you have not.
All sponsor attendees must be registered by your firm using the online registration process no later than August 28 by selecting MEMBER from the registration type drop down/ After entering your name, company and email you will either enter another name, or use your discount code in the payment window of the registration process.
Exhibitors must register through this process as well.
Sponsors that wish to send additional participants can register attendees online at the MEMBERS OR NON-MEMBER rate, depending on membership status. Members must be in good standing to register using the member discount (renewed prior to registration).
Registration includes breakfast, lunch, workshop sessions and attendance at the pre-conference reception the night before.

Exhibitor Information:
All exhibitors will sign in and are located on the 1st floor at 8am of the Convention Center.
All sponsor and exhibitor attendees will return to the registration table to sign in at 8am when registration opens.
Exhibit booths are grouped together by sponsorship level.
Each space is a tabletop space with 6-foot table and is 4-feet deep.
All spaces come with a single electrical outlet, draped table, two chairs and waste basket.
No materials / banners may be hung on the walls.
Venue and NYSAFAH staff cannot assist with exhibit setup or teardown.
Pre-shipped materials will be delivered to your exhibit space by 7am on 9/12/24 (see revised shipping instructions at the end of this email).
No items can be scheduled for delivery the day of the event.
Items can be received up to three days prior to the event and shipped out one day after (9/13/24).
Exhibits MUST be completely setup by 7:30am (Exhibits that are not set up by 9:00am will be pulled from the floor).
Exhibits should be broken down by 4pm.
Exhibitors should bring pre-printed return shipping labels and arrange for the return of their items. Your return label will reflect the information attached and you will instruct the carrier to pick up your items at that same location as well.
Again - Exhibits must be completely broken down by 4pm and materials that are left behind will be discarded.
All boxes for return shipment must left on your exhibit table, taped and labeled appropriately.

Failure to schedule an outbound shipment by 6 PM Friday, September 13th will result in the shipment being forced onto the Official Show Carrier and will be forwarded to the addressed recipient. Any charges resulting from a forced shipment will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.
HALE SERVICE DESK
Hale Expo Services, LC. will have a service desk staffed with a customer service representative to handle any last-minute equipment needs or questions you may have. The desk wil be operating during set-up, show hours and dismantling of the show and will be located on the exhibit floor of the facility.

Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal represents the 67th Assembly District, which includes the Upper West Side and parts of Hell’s Kitchen. She is a lifelong resident of the Upper West Side and serves as Chair of the Assembly Housing Committee.
Ben Upshaw is Managing Partner/Co-Owner of CB-Emmanuel Realty, LLC. The organization has developed over 4,400 apartments including Niagara Falls, Cheektowaga, Buffalo, Sodus, Williamson, Rochester, Bronx, Harlem, Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn.
Jim Walsh has lobbied for the NYS Association For Affordable Housing before New York State government since 2011 and is proud to have assisted in advancing critical housing policies including the 5-Year Housing Plan.
Peter Wysocki joined Conifer as Vice President of Asset Management. In his role, he oversees portfolio performance, impacts to NOI, Risk Management, Capex Strategy and Revenue Strategy.
