Eugene Peterson's book “Long Obedience in the Same Direction” speaks to an enduring call. A call to press on, move forward step by step and, sometimes, inch by inch. By God’s grace and His faithful pursuit of us, we can do this. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 says, “The One who calls us is faithful, and He will do it.”
Yes, we will talk about what this means. Yes, we will encourage each other in this perseverance AND we will sing, eat, laugh, tell stories, cry, remember, reflect, and come away refreshed because we have been together. One way to endure is to be surrounded by others who can encourage us on this journey. This is what Reunion is all about.
Thank you for joining us – either in person or online. We are praying that you will be reminded that you are deeply loved, seen and known by the One who created you. So, press on, friend. And let us celebrate and learn together.
This year's reunion gift project continues the remodeling of community spaces in the residence halls. To find out more and to give, visit asbury.edu/reunion-gift-project.

What to expect?
A family-friendly weekend for you to connect with Asbury and your classmates. We want you to come and feel encouraged in your walk with Jesus and more confident in Asbury and her future. All alumni are welcome!
Where can I stay?
On-campus housing: You may choose to stay on campus in one of our residence halls. There are family-style options available in our apartments for those with 2 or more children. Please be reminded that our campus housing provides only basic amenities, including bed linens and towels. Unfortunately, the dorm rooms are not decorated (rugs, lamps, TVs, pictures, etc.) and have only the furniture needed for each room. Reservations for on-campus housing are available through Registration. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.
Other accommodations: There are hotels and bed and breakfast options in the area. You can find a list of lodging options here: asbury.edu/visit/plan-your-visit
Can I purchase meals on campus?
Meals are available for purchase in the cafeteria through Reunion Registration starting at dinner on Friday and through lunch on Sunday. Cafeteria meals can also be purchased at the door. If you are interested in eating off campus, here is a list of local options: asbury.edu/visit/plan-your-visit
Are my children encouraged to come?
Yes, please bring your children to Reunion! We provide a full youth program for birth through high school. Canoeing, challenge course, and swimming are on the program for age-appropriate activities. We have something for everyone!
Will my reunion year be celebrated?
This year, we celebrate our classes ending in 0s and 5s by singing your class hymn in Hughes and with Class gatherings throughout the weekend.
What are the special reunions or programs this year?
We will celebrate with our alums who participated in The Salvation Army’s Band and Songsters. There will be rehearsals throughout the weekend and a concert on Sunday morning. We will also celebrate the 60th reunion of the Tumbling Team and the dedication of our new Gray Outdoor Venue on Saturday.
What if I plan to arrive on Thursday?
If you plan to arrive on Thursday, campus housing is available beginning Thursday evening. The cafeteria will be open Friday for breakfast and lunch. You can pay at the door for these meals. Please be aware that registration opens and programming begins on Friday afternoon. You will receive information via email about how to access your on-campus housing prior to your arrival on campus.
Parking?
You are welcome to park in the various parking lots marked on the campus map. You may view the campus map here. Registration is in the Kinlaw Library (20).
