There will be fascinating lectures, workshops and plenty of time to get to know each other. We have arranged some linked side events on the Sunday, including a unique Bible Tour at the British Museum and a visit to the home of Christian free speech: Speaker’s Corner at Marble Arch in London.  Local Christadelphian churches can welcome visitors too.

Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone you think may be interested.

Speakers

Andrew Perriman

Andrew Perriman is a New Testament theologian interested especially in the relation between narrative and history. He is also concerned to see how this relation plays out in missional praxis as the church in the West adjusts to new historical horizons.

Dan Weatherall

Dan co-hosts the Bible Feed podcast and is a lay preacher and teacher in the Christadelphian church in the UK.

Jerry Wierwille

Based on grammatical and theological considerations, 1 Cor 8:6 is best understood as expressing a strictly soteriological reality rather than a cosmological one.

Kids Club

We would love for as many people as possible to come to the UCA conference, and don't want anyone to feel that they can't come because of 'what to do with the children'. So during (all) of the adults sessions we will be running will be running a kids' club for children around 6 to 12 years old.

The theme is 'Walk Like an Egyptian' - we will be looking deeper into the life and times of Joseph, and the Egyptians.

Learning about their gods and way of life, writing hieroglyphs, trying some Egyptian food, playing ancient Egyptian games, as well as many crafty Egyptian themed activities and Bible time.

Also, if you come to the British Museum on Sunday, we will be offering an Egyptian themed kids' tour.

Under 13's can register for free

Parking

Short-stay parking in Windsor itself is available although may be more expensive. There are long-stay and Park & Ride options available a little further out, mostly to the north by the river. Romney Lock & King Edward VII are good options, the latter is 17 minutes walk from the venue and also a Park & Ride. Costs are about £13 a day. Details are available on this link. You might also want to consider private renting residential car space locally using apps like JustPark.  There is a small amount of parking at the URC Church venue but this is prioritised for those helping and needing direct access. Let us know if there are special needs, otherwise please use town car parks.
