If you're a woman engaged in the business sphere, passionate about sharing and gaining knowledge, wisdom, and experiences with fellow like-minded women in the field, all with the aim of personal and collective growth, we invite you to be a part of the 2024 Women Growing Together in Business Conference.

Women Growing Together in Business (WGTB) stands as a collaborative event where we each take on roles as mentors and mentees, delving into subjects we've mastered and those we're eager to develop. The agenda encompasses the key business tracks we navigate in our daily pursuits, both in the present and the evolving landscape of the future. The agenda is collaborative and is subject to change.  Every track will delve into topics curated by the audience. Yes, you read it right—the agenda is dynamic and open to change, as it is designed by participants, for participants! This event is an In-Person event, with some virtual options. The main sessions will be streamed via Zoom. There will be  "virtual group" collaborations during the meal breaks. Anyone that is sick, including showing signs of illness, or has had a virus within 5 days, is asked to quarantine from the "live" event. You may participate, virtually.

Terms and Conditions

The 2024 Women’s Growing Together in Business Conference (WGTIB) is organized by ACN Meetings and Events, LLC (ACNME). The conference is being held at the Woodlands at Algonkian Park in Sterling VA, as well as being streamed and recorded with a virtual audience.  Each participant agrees to the following items in the Conference Participation Agreement.

1. **Media Release** By participating in the Hybrid Live Virtual Meeting hosted by ACNME, the Participant hereby grants permission to ACNME and its affiliates to photograph, record, and/or livestream their image, voice, and likeness during the event. The Participant understands that these materials may be used for promotional, educational, or informational purposes by ACNME and its partners.

2. **Waiver of Approval:** The Participant acknowledges that participation in the conference is voluntary, waiving any right to inspect or approve the use of the images, recordings, or livestreams. The Participant understands that once captured, their image, voice, or likeness may be shared publicly, including on ACNME's website, social media platforms, marketing materials, and press releases.

3. **Code of Conduct:** The Participant agrees to demonstrate kindness, respect, and consideration towards all conference participants, speakers, organizers, and staff, irrespective of protected characteristics. The Participant commits to upholding ethical standards, professionalism, and exemplary personal conduct throughout the conference.

4. **Harm and Discredit:** The Participant pledges to refrain from actions that may cause harm or bring discredit to ACNME or any participating individuals or organizations.

5. **Conflicts of Interest:** The Participant will avoid conflicts of interest, discrimination, hate speech, or offensive language targeting any individual or group.

6. **Attire and Scents:** While creativity and self-expression are encouraged, the Participant will be mindful of attire and scents that may cause discomfort to others.

7. **Substance Use:** The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited. If consuming alcohol, the Participant agrees to follow the law and be responsible for themselves and others.

8. **Weapons Prohibition:** Firearms, knives, or other weapons are strictly prohibited at the conference unless carried by on-duty law enforcement personnel in compliance with local laws.

9. **Emergency Procedures:** In the event of an emergency, the Participant agrees to follow instructions provided by the facility, conference staff, and local authorities, and to familiarize themselves with the venue's emergency exits and procedures.

10. **Consequences of Violation:** Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, expulsion from the convention without refund, or involvement of local law enforcement, depending on the severity of the infraction.

11. **Cancellation Policy:** If canceling prior to April 1, 2024, the Participant agrees to a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds are available for cancellations on or after April 1, 2024. Virtual access to main sessions is provided, and participants may request access to recordings until April 30.

12. **Force Majeure:** In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events, ACNME reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the conference without notice. Participants acknowledge ACNME shall not be liable for direct or indirect damages, and the liability is limited to the refund of the conference registration fee.
