A multidisciplinary, interactive learning experience for incorporating genetic testing into the practice of hepatology and liver transplantation.

On registration, registrants will be sent access to lecture video recordings and course material, available thru November 15, 2023.
Learning Objectives
1. Recognize the major signs of genetic liver disease and discern when a patient might benefit from genetic testing.
2. Describe the clinical utility of different genetic testing methodologies for liver diseases.
3. Discuss how to navigate genetic test reports.
4. Name resources available to health care providers (clinicians, NPs and PAs) interested in referring patients to genetic testing and genetic counseling.
Accreditation Statement

PAs may claim a maximum of 5.00 Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
Nurse Practitioners
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit. Maximum of 5.00 hours.
American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) MOC Credits
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 4.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. You must request your certificate within 30 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to PARS.
Genetic Counselors
