Student Leadership Network is thrilled to be hosting our second national conference for public school educators serving girls and gender-expansive youth. The Whole Girl Education National Conference is a two-day event that invites educators to explore the role of girls' education in creating a more equitable world. We will consider the domains where gender equality remains a major issue, such as leadership, politics, health care, and STEM fields, and what girls' schools can do to prepare our students to address these challenges. We believe that girls' schools are uniquely positioned to address intersectional issues of equity, including gender, race, socio-economic status, ability, sexual orientation, age, and ancestry, and can do so by creating opportunities for our students to be innovators, to build leadership skills, and to use their voices to be advocates for change.
